Loosen OCD’s grip, feel like you again
Online OCD and Anxiety therapy for Adults in CA and MA
My clients struggle as you do. Despite being eager to grow and evolve, life is hard. Life is especially hard if you’re dealing with an anxiety disorder or OCD. My clients feel stuck in cycles of anxiously and repetitively checking and reviewing, overthinking, and/or feeling compelled to perform rituals or habits that feel urgent—even when they don’t make sense. Together, we work to break those patterns and make space for what really matters to them.
How I Can Help
My name is Jen, and I help people with OCD and anxiety step off the never-ending ride of doubt and worry. I’ve trained with many well-respected OCD clinicians and continue to pursue advanced training to deepen my skills as an OCD therapist.
My Background and Training
I’ve completed an intensive certification program in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) through the Cognitive Behavioral Institute. ERP is an evidence-based treatment for OCD, and this certification goes beyond basic training—reflecting the depth of experience I bring to supporting people with OCD. I’m also trained in Inference-Based CBT (ICBT), a non-exposure approach to treating OCD, and I’ve learned directly from top ICBT experts.
I’m particularly skilled at helping people distinguish between relational anxiety rooted in attachment issues and relationship OCD. This clarity helps them feel less confused and overwhelmed in their relationships.
I genuinely love learning about OCD and anxiety, and I’m passionate about helping people build a new relationship with doubt and worry—one that allows for more flexibility and self-trust.

Therapeutic Services
I provide online anxiety therapy and online OCD therapy to individuals in Massachusetts and California. I also help diagnose OCD and anxiety disorders for those who haven’t yet received a diagnosis. I see each client as far more than a diagnostic label— no diagnosis can reflect the full nuance and complexity of the human experience— but having some clarity about what’s happening can guide us toward effective, evidence-based treatment options that truly make a difference.
As an OCD therapist, I use evidence-based treatments for OCD and anxiety—approaches that are proven to reduce symptoms and help people feel more grounded and connected in their lives. These include:
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
Inference based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT) for OCD
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
The Gottman Method and Attachment Based Therapy for dating and relationship anxiety

Healing is Possible
My clients are often misdiagnosed or given treatment that doesn’t work for OCD, and they find themselves feeling hopeless that anything could help them feel better.
When my clients first come to therapy, they feel like their mind is broken, as if there is no choice but to focus on upsetting things they don’t want to think about, and it’s exhausting.
They feel like they have to follow certain rules and routines but it’s never enough for OCD and these patterns don’t offer the peace they are searching for.
Finding a Way Forward
My client’s overthinking spirals get in the way of the life they want in so many ways. They aren’t the kind of person they want to be. They feel like they're failing as a friend, partner, career person, or just as a functioning adult. And their confidence in being the person that has it together is tanking.
Before they came to see me they feared that this was just how their mind worked and their life would never change. They worried that their brand of OCD was beyond help. And they were pretty certain that it would be too embarrassing or too hard to explain what was going on in their brain to a complete stranger. They felt like they were carrying it all by themselves and the isolation was unbearable.
Like my clients, you can work towards your dreams, build meaningful relationships, and have fun in life instead of being held back by fear.
Learning to trust yourself instead of listening to OCD and anxiety is not out of your reach.
Let’s step out of the OCD and Anxiety Cycle. You don’t have to suffer. I can help. I’m Jen Lescher, LCSW/LICSW, a therapist specializing in OCD and anxiety. Let’s work together to help you move forward.
